~about a new header~

Ein weiteres Projekt, dass ich zurzeit plane ist ein neuer Header. Der alte war einfach von Blogger übernommen, der derzeitige ist nur eine Notlösung, also wird es Zeit, dass ich endlich etwas Ordentliches bekomme.

Eigentlich hatte ich darauf gehofft, dass mein Freund mir vielleicht einen basteln würde, aber der hat leider genauso wenig Zeit wie ich und seine eigenen Projekte am Laufen. Daher mussten meine mickrigen Photoshop Kenntnisse herhalten um etwas halbwegs Vernünftiges zu Basteln.

Ich hab‘s bis jetzt auf drei Ergebnisse gebracht. Alle eher provisorisch, aber durchaus besser, als der aktuelle.

Die Grafiken kommen alle von“ The Graphics Fairy“, einem fantastischen Blog, der tägliche alte Grafiken und Zeichnungen, sowie Hintergründe zur freien Verfügung stellt.

Jetzt brauche ich natürlich noch eure Hilfe bei der Entscheidung: Welchen der drei findet ihr am besten?

Another project I’m planning at the moment is a new blog header. I took the old one right away from blogger and the actual one is just a temporary solution, you see it’s time that I get a right one.

Actually I hoped my boyfriend could make one for me, because he’s a really talented artist, but he’s got his own projects running and had no time. Therefor I had to try it myself and use my crappy Photoshop skills to make a halfway good one.

I made it up to three designs, all together not that good and more provisional, but in all ways better than my actual header.

I took the graphics from “The Graphics Fairy”, a fantastic blog, which daily provides vintage graphics, designs and backgrounds for free use!

Now I need your help; which one do you like most of those three?

Neben meiner leiblichen Familie habe ich seit einiger Zeit auch eine Wahlfamilie, die „de Loryva“ genannt wird. Der Name ist ein Wortspiel aus Lolitafamilie, „Lory“ von Loli/Rori und „va“ von Familie. 

Irgendwie hat sich das Ganze mal so ergeben und auf einmal hatte ich zwei Schwestern, vier Nichten und so weiter und so fort. Gemeinsam wird viel unternommen, z.B. Ausflüge, Bastelabende, DVD-Abend…,  und auch Lolita und seit neuestem auch Steampunk zählt zu unseren Interessensgebieten.

Um unsere Abenteuer festzuhalten hat Athoriel (meine Schwester) den Familienblog ins Leben gerufen: „Les aventures de Lorvya“. Ab nun werde ich auch dort posten und euch von unseren Unternehmungen berichten. (Im ersten Beitrag sind unsere Familienverhältnisse erklärt…(wobei die sich mittlerweile schon wieder leicht geändert haben)

Die Treffen müssen natürlich auch geplant werden, dafür haben wir unseren „Palais de Loryva“, ein Forum, in dem natürlich auch Familienfreunde willkommen sind!

Beside my normal family I also got a family of choice which is called “de Loryva”. The name is a play on words from Lolitafamily, “lory” comes from Loli/Rori and “va” from family.

Somehow this whole thing started and suddenly I’ve got two sisters, four nieces and so on. Together we’ll do a lot of things, like visiting castles/museums, do crafting nights, DVD-evenings... Our interests are (besides a lot of others) Lolita (of course ;) ) and since a few months also Steampunk.  

To memorize all our adventures Athoriel (my sister) created the family blog: “Les aventures de Loryva”. Since now on I’ll also post there about our outings. Unfortunately the family blog is only posted in German but you can watch our photos and videos if you like. In the firstposting by Athoriel our family tree is shown.

Of course our meet-ups have to be planned somewhere, that’s why we also our “Palais de Loryva”, a forum where also family friends are welcome!

~about a trip to the steam festival~

 Vergangenen Samstag fand in Bochum an der Zeche Hannover zum 7. Mal das Dampffest statt. Zu bestaunen gab es neben den großen historischen Dampfmaschinen und Lokomobilen auch kleinere fahrbare Modelle und steuerbare Dampfschiffe.

Last Saturday the steam festival in Bochum, Zeche Hannover took place for the 7^th time. There were a lot of historical steam machines but also smaller but drivable models and steam ships.

Die Zeche selbst konnte natürlich auch bestaunt werden und auch für das leibliche Wohl war gesorgt. Immer wieder gab es dazu auch geniale musikalische Untermalung von Marshall Cooper & The Phonky Deputies.

The museum of the Zeche could also be visited and there was also a lot of food to buy. During the day the band “MarshallCooper & The Phonky Deputies” played some great pieces of music.

Nebenbei bot das Spektakel die perfekte Kulisse für einen kleinen Ausflug und für ein paar Fotos in Steampunk und Lolita. Gemeinsam mit Kitty und Harcole habe ich die Chance genutzt. Hier die Ergebnisse:

~about not having time and new projects~

Schon wieder fast ein Monat ohne Beitrag >.< Es tut mir Leid, dass ich nur noch so unregelmäßig schreibe, aber ihr kennt das ja: Zu wenig Zeit und zu viel zu tun! Im Moment habe ich keine wirklich interessanten Dinge zu berichten, darum ein kurzer Einblick, warum ich u.a. kaum noch Zeit zum bloggen habe: 

Das WGT (Wave Gothik Treffen) in Leipzig steht vor der Türe und ich werde dieses Jahr das erste Mal daran teilnehmen und das direkt alle Tage. Bei fünf Tagen muss natürlich auch eine gewisse Abwechslung in Sachen Klamotten gegeben sein. 

Unsere momentane Planung bis jetzt sieht so aus:

Je ein Tag: Historisch, Steampunk, Lolita, Ero-Lolita und im Kimono.

Historisch wird es meine Renaissance Robe, die ich auch auf der Gala Nocturna getragen habe, allerdings fehlt mir da noch die Schnürbrust für die richtige Silhouette. Auf der Gala musste mein normales Korsett herhalten, aber zum WGT hätt‘ ich’s schon gerne historisch korrekt (mal ganz abgesehen davon, dass ich sie natürlich auch fürs historische Tanzen brauchen könnte).

Steampunk ist Gott sei Dank komplett fertig! Es bleibt bei meiner Steampunkaristokratin von den Elf Fantasy Fairs.

Der Lolita Tag macht mir noch ein bisschen Sorgen. In Planung habe ich ein Steampunklolita-Outfit, aber bis jetzt bin ich mir da nur mit dem Rock sicher. Eine Bluse hab ich bestellt, bleibt zu hoffen, dass sie passt. Schuhe schwanke ich noch zwischen wirklich bequem und wirklich schön. Ach ja, und als wenn das alles noch nicht genug wäre ist da noch ein Haarteil, was angefertigt werden will >.<

Gut, dass ich für mein Ero-Outfit alles beisammen hab. Es wird wohl eine abgeänderte Form von meiner Ero-Piratin werden. Nur eventuell mit Hut und ohne Weste, bzw. anderer Weste.

Ach ja, der Kimono. Da werde ich mich in die Arme meiner lieben Zweitmutti Kitty begeben und mich einkleiden lassen^^ nur für die Schuhe muss ich sorgen, ABER die habe ich glücklicherweise schon vor einer ganzen Weile bestellt, ich hoffe nur, sie sind auch einigermaßen bequem >.< 

In dreieinhalb Wochen ist es soweit! Drückt mir die Daumen, dass ich noch alles schaffe! (btw: ich freu mich schon tierisch auf Vionas Viktorianisches Picknick!)

Again nearly a month without posting >.< I apologize, that I only write so few entries but it’s always the same: so many things to do so but not enough time to do so. And in addition to that there are none interesting things to write about at the moment. That’s why I’ll give you a short overview about my current projects and why I don’t have enough time to make some proper postings:

My next big event is the WGT (Wave Gothik Treffen) in Leipzig and I’ll visit it for the first time and we’ll stay all five days! Of course there has to be some diversion in styles and outfits.

Our plans by know:

Each day a different theme: historical, Steampunk, Lolita, Ero-Lolita and kimono.

For the historical day I want to wear my Renaissance robe I wore at the Gala Nocturna. But I have to make a historical corset (stay?) for the right shape. At the Gala I wore my normal corset but for the WGT I’d like to have it historical correct. (And I need one anyway because of my historical dancing classes.)

Thank god, the Steampunk outfit is finished: I’ll wear my Steampunkaristocrat from last year’s Elf Fantasy Fairs.

The Lolita day worries me a bit. I was planning a Steampunk-Lolita-Outfit but at the moment I’m only sure what skirt I’ll wear. I’ve ordered a new blouse and I hope it’ll fit. For the shoes I can’t decide between really comfortable and really beautiful. And as if this wasn’t enough there’s a hair corsage waiting to be finished >.<

Great, that my Ero-outfit is finished! I’ll wear my Ero-pirate maybe slightly altered with a hat and without the vest or another vest.

Well, on to the Kimono. I fully trust my second mum kitty and let her style me! She’s our queen of Kimonos and stuff! I only have to look for the shoes and fortunately I’ve bought a pair some time ago. I only hope they are comfortable >.<

Cross your fingers for me that all my plans will work out and I can finish my projects because in three and a half week we’ll be heading off for Leipzig! (btw: I’m really looking forward to Viona’s Victorian Picnic!)
