Jetzt aber erstmal einen guten Rutsch, wir lesen uns nächstes Jahr!

~about a belated "birthday"~

Ja, richtig. Ich habe wirklich den Geburtstag meines Blogs verpennt >.< Heute ist er genau ein Jahr, einen Monat und einen Tag alt^^

Meinen ersten Eintrag habe ich am 9. November geschrieben: ~about starting a blog~ . Damals habe ich gehofft, dass ich durchhalte in Deutsch und Englisch zu bloggen. Wie man sieht: Ich bin immer noch bilingual^^
Jetzt würde ich die Chance gerne nutzen um herauszufinden, was ihr als meine Leser gerne mehr sehen würdet. Dazu beantwortet bitte die Umfrage unten.

Als ich heute durch meine Leselisten geklickt habe, fiel mir ein Eintrag sofort auf: "Steampunk Inspired Lolita & Victoria's Clockwork Emporium Review" auf Fuck Yeah Lolita. Ich hab mich total gefreut auch mal auf einem anderem Blog etwas über meinen Liebligs Lolita-Sub-Stil zu lesen.
Beim runterscrollen hab ich dann das hier entdeckt:

Today, when I read trough the blogs I follow, I recognized an entry named "Steampunk Inspired Lolita & Victoria's Clockwork Emporium Review" on Fuck Yeah Lolita. I was really exited to read about my favourite Lolita substyle on another blog. 
Then when scrolling down... 
I found myself being featured there with this two pictures from my deviantArt: 

Dort aufzutauchen bedeutet mir sehr viel, weil ich eigentlich nur wegen Fuck Yeah Lolita angefangen habe zu bloggen^^ Es war der erste Blog, den ich regelmäßig gelesen habe und wo ich jeden einzelnen Beitrag gelesen habe!

~about Dunkelsüß and Steampunk Lolita~

Wie ich hier schon eimal schrieb  ~about Lolita and Steampunk~ hatten wir in der deutschen Lolita Community eine Diskussion darüber, ob es eine Steampunk Lolita Kategorie geben solle.
Nun, letzte Woche bekam ich eine Nachricht, dass die Kategorie nun freigegeben wäre! Danke an Scarletsedusa!

As I wrote here: ~about Lolita and Steampunk~ there was a discussion in the german lolita community if there should be a Steampunk Lolita category. Well last week I received a PM that the Steampunk category is now open! Thanks to Scarletsedusa!

~about the upcoming Gala Nocturna~

Vor ein paar Stunden wurde das Thema für die Gala Nocturna 2012 bekannt gegeben:
~A Russian Fairytale~ Ein Russisches Märchen. (Die Gala Nocturna auf Facebook)

Die Gala Nocturna ist ein jährlicher (historischer) Kostümball, der in Antwerpen (Belgien) stattfindet. Organisiert wird er von Viona, einer sehr talentierten Fotografin, Schneiderin  und Model Viona, die auch das viktorianische Picknick in Leipzig auf dem WGT organisiert.

Ich war die letzten zwei Male auch dabei, die wirklich super waren! (Ich habe an dieser Stelle auch darüber gebloggt.) Das letzte Thema war "The Virgin Queen - an Ode to the Elizabethan Era".
Ich finde, dieses Jahr ist das Thema besonders schwer, weil es nicht mit einer Zeit sondern einem Land zusammen hängt. Früher, als Kind habe ich russische Märchen geliebt (sie liefen ja häufiger auf KiKa im Sonntagsmärchen), ganz besonders Väterchen Frost:

A few hours ago the theme for the Gala Nocturna 2012 was anounced:
~A Russian fairytale~ (The Gala Nocturna on Facebook)

The Gala Nocturna is a annual (historical) costume ball in Antwerp (Belgium) organized by the great Photographer, Tailor and Model Viona. (She also organizes the Victorian Picnic in Leipzig during the WGT.)

I visited the last two events which where really great! (I also blogged about the last one this year here.) Last time's theme was "The Virgin Queen - an Ode to the Elizabethan Era". 
I find next year's theme quite difficult because it's not linked to a certain decade of time but to a land. When I was younger I really loved the russian fairytale fims like "Father Frost"

Ich denke allerdings nicht, dass ich mich so anziehen will und kann. Ich hoffe, dass Viona in den nächsten Tagen und Wochen noch ein paar mehr Informationen zum Thema und zur Kleidung geben wird. Bis dahin zeige ich euch noch ein paar Bilder russischer Märchenfiguren.
Angefangen mit Koschej, ein alter, hässlicher Mann, der solange unsterblich ist, bis seine Seele, die er außerhalb seines Körpers aufbewart, getötet wird.

 Ich mag dieses Haus wirklich extrem gerne! (Eine Freundin von mir Thumbelina wird es vll in ihrer Schmuckkollektion umsetzen! *freu*)

  I really, really love that house! (Maybe a friend of mine (Thumbelina) promissed me to feature it in her jewelry collection! *yay*)

 

Als letztes meine absolute Lieblingsfigur: Snegurotschka (~Schneeflöckchen). Ich denke, mein Outfit wird von ihr inspiriert sein. Auf jeden Fall will ich Fellbesätze haben^^

Ich werde nun also  noch mehr Informationen über russische Märchen und vielleicht auch über die Folklore sammeln, damit ich vorbereitet bin und mein Outfit zusammenstellen kann.

~about steampunk in mainstream~

Bei meinem letzten Shoppingtrip ist mir aufgefallen wie viel Steampunktaugliches aktuell auf den Ladentischen liegt.

Angefangen bei Schmuck, über Jacken bis hin zu Schuhen.

Gerade Bijou Brigitte scheint auf den Steampunkzug aufgesprungen zu sein mit Schmuck mit Schlüsseln und Uhren in Antikoptik. Aber nicht nur dieser Schmuckladen, sondern so ziemlich jeder andere Laden bietet Schmuck in Bronze und Messingtönen und Antiklook an. So habe ich mir zum Beispiel bei Primark in Gelsenkirchen einen Ring in Schlüsselform gekauft. Bei New Yorker gibt es Ringe im Kameenlook und bei Zeeman kann man Ketten in Antikmessingfarben kaufen mit verschiedenen Anhängern. Alles wunderbar für die Steampunkdame von Welt einsetzbar. Aber auch für den Herren gibt es etwas: Taschenuhren sind zurzeit scheinbar „in“ und es gibt sie in allen erdenklichen Formen und Preisklassen.

During my last shopping trip I recognized that there’s a lot of steampunk-y stuff to buy at the moment. Jewelry, jackets and shoes, everything with a Steampunk touch.

Especially Bijou Brigitte seems to be hopped on the Steampunk train with jewelry with keys and clocks in antique look. But not only this jewelry store but also every other store sells antique looking and brass or (Bronze) colored jewelry today. I bought a key shaped ring at Primark for example and a cameo ring at New Yorker. At Zeeman they sell antique brass colored necklaces with various pendants. Every single one wonderful to coordinate with the lady’s Steampunk outfits. But there’s also stuff for the Steampunk gentleman: pocket watches seem to be “en vogue” at the moment and you can get them in various colours, shapes and price classes.

Bei den Jacken kann man diesen Winter im Fliegerlook gehen: Lammfelljacken (oder zumindest in Lammfelloptik) gibt es in so ziemlich jedem Geschäft zu kaufen und machen einen Luftschiffpiloten/ eine Luftschiffpilotin komplett.
